Job description Role Title: Electrician Part Time/Full Time: Full Time (9 am - 5pm) Proposed Start Date: ASAP Accountable to: Director of Technology Region: Ipswich (will be required to stay away for short periods) Commercial Terms/Rate: Negotiable

Overall purpose of the role Installation of a range of Carbon ReductionTechnologies, these include electrical sub metering, radio equipment, low energy lighting and voltage reduction devices.

• Experience working on industrial switch gear (required)
• BEMS/HVAC controls (advantageous)
• 17 th Edition (required)
• Project management (advantageous)
• Advanced ICT skills (advantageous)
• Accurate record keeping (required)
• Ability to fault find (required)
• Excellent interpersonal skills (required)

Person Specification

• Good practical skills to work with hand and power tools.
• The ability to follow technical drawings and instructions.
• A methodical approach to work and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
• A commitment to keep up to date with industry developments.
• The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A thorough understanding of electrical safety rules and regulations.

Education, qualifications & training Education

• City and Guilds 2330 Certificate in Electrotechnology Level 2
• City and Guilds 2330 Certificate in Electrotechnology Level 3
• City and Guilds 2356 NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• City and Guilds th Edition

Skills and abilities

• Self motivated & self directed
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to work well as an individual
• Competent IT Knowledge

Experience

• Minimum 12 months on site installation experience
