Job Description
London based government organisation requires a Legal Adviser on an initial 6 month contract to provide legal support to stakeholders when negotiating and executing deals. The position will be to provide practical, proactive advice and support on legal issues during deal execution.
Additionally the department requires the development and documentation of processes to assist with rights and compliance to legal obligations. The negotiation and draft deeds of variation to amend contracts and formulation of appropriate governance procedures is also required.
Candidates should have post qualification experience of commercial/contract law and have some in-house experience. It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience/understanding of healthcare and/or experience of working within the public sector. Candidates must have a law degree or be a barrister/solicitor.
