Job Description
A leading Aerospace organisation is currently recruiting for an experienced Satellite on Board Data Handling Architect to join their multi-disciplinary team. You will be required to define and specify elements of the data handling subsystems including verification thereof to ensure customer requirements are met.
The Satellite on Board Data Handling Architect will look at compatibility issues and participate in the innovation and process improvement of company product policies. The definition of the subsystems for each mission will involve preparation of documentation and specifications, technical reporting and subsystem verification.
It will be necessary for you to have strong experience of data handling and processing equipment including computer architectures, ideally with knowledge of on board computers. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject with extensive industry experience.
This position is based in Hertfordshire.
