Job Description
The National sales group at VIP is currently looking for a Senior IT technology services SAP Account Manager/Sales Executive with 6+ years of successful sales experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience with consulting service and/or project staffing sales in information technology. Prior knowledge and experience in project based solution selling within the enterprise software application development or testing arenas, a strong background in developing new leads, and a proven track record of meeting new sales and revenue goals within a technical environment are critical attributes for the position. The desired Senior SAP Account Manager/Sales Executive will be independent, with a demonstrated strong work ethic. The successful candidate must be able to position and drive conversations with senior level prospective/existing client management quickly identifying decision makers in order to consummate sales. Responsibilities include overall management of the entire sales cycle from developing new clients through cold calling, prospecting and networking, to closing the deal. The successful candidate will grow and maintain business with new and existing clients. The Senior SAP Account Manager/Sales Executive will work closely with the delivery management team to ensure sales and deliveryare consistent on such items as proposal development, account follow-up, and strategic selling. The successful candidate will offer excellent communication skills including the ability to deliver solution based value presentations to prospects. Experience with Service related sales in ERP arena (SAP), BI/DW, Development and test tool sales is a plus. It is expected the candidate will bring existing client relationships, contacts, and introductions for VIP immediately in early stages of employ.Sales Executive Qualifications:•6+ years of experience selling IT consulting services to Fortune 1000 commercial sector clients in the Target Market. •Excellent communications skills. This person will be expected to identify leads and manage them through the sales cycle. •Proven record of exceeding sales quota/and meeting commission earning goals•Experience with quality assurance/testing services, Business Intelligence, Application Development packaged solutions, and/or product software based sales a plus.•Existing base of national SAP contacts in target region to quickly initiate successful sales - is a expected component of this role •Experience selling IT services that range from staffing to solutions to outsourcing and combined offerings.
